Description

Introducing NordicStove, the ultimate heating and cooking solution for adventurers and homeowners alike. These oil-burning stoves can be used in boats, tents, vans, trailers, workshops, cabins, or homes, making them perfect for any situation where a heating and/or cooking device is needed. The NordicStove models exemplify both efficiency and effectiveness, boasting the remarkable capability to heat any type of dwelling. Moreover, these models are available in multiple BTU per hour output sizes, ranging from 6,800 to 40,000, ensuring that there's a suitable model for every need. The flat, thick top plate that all models are designed and equipped with acts as a cooking surface, making these stoves a versatile duo-use appliance.

NordicStoves do not require electricity, making them ideal for use in remote locations. The stoves are environmentally friendly, producing a minimum of carbon in the exhaust and meeting rigorous clean air requirements. Each NordicStove comes from the factory pre-set for U.S. #1 heating oil but can use a different grade such as marine diesel, #2 heating oil, or automotive diesel as needed (with adjustments).

The NordicStove 6,800 BTU output models are designed for small spaces such as bedrooms, tents, small cabins, or a single room in a larger home. They can also be used in RVs, boats, or other similar vehicles where space is limited and up to 250 square feet in size. However, it's important to consider that the size of the heater required for a particular space will depend on various factors, including the climate of the region, insulation of the building, and the desired temperature. Furthermore, the layout and airflow of the space can also impact the heater's effectiveness.

Choose NordicStove for your next adventure or heating and cooking needs.

Which Model NordicStove Do I Choose, Basic, Convector, Deluxe, or Rustic Model?:

What is the NordicStove Basic Model?

If you're looking for a no-frills radiant heating system, here's the answer. The black steel Basic offers economical, effective heating for those applications that require versatility and durability at low cost. An oil heater becomes warmer the closer you are to it because heat radiates out in all directions from the heater. When you are closer to the heater, you are within the "radiant zone" where you are directly receiving heat radiated from the heater's surface. As you move away from the heater, the heat spreads out and becomes less concentrated, so you feel less warmth. This is why it's common for people to sit close to an oil heater to stay warm, especially in cold weather. The heat from an oil heater can also warm the air in a room, but the radiant heat is what gives the heater its cozy, comfortable feel.

What is the NordicStove Convector Model?

The Convector models, similar to the Basic model, come with a black steel shroud which provides an added benefit of convection heating. The slots located at the top and bottom of the cover create an airflow that enhances the heater's effectiveness. Convection heating is a method of heating a space using convection currents to circulate warm air. It works by warming up the air surrounding a heat source, such as a heater or furnace, causing it to rise and create a vacuum. This vacuum then pulls in cooler air from the surrounding area to replace the rising warm air, resulting in a continuous flow of heated air. Convection heating is known for its efficiency because it heats up the entire room evenly, and it can be more energy-efficient than other types of heating because it relies on natural air circulation instead of a fan or blower.

What is the NordicStove Deluxe Model?

The Deluxe model is a combination of both stainless steel construction and convection heating, making it a stylish and efficient heating solution. With strategically placed slots at the top and bottom of the cover, the convection system allows for increased airflow and enhanced heating performance. Convection heating is a natural way of warming a space by circulating warm air using convection currents. This process involves heating up the air surrounding the heater, causing it to rise and create a vacuum. As the warm air rises, cooler air from the surrounding area is drawn in, resulting in a continuous flow of heated air that evenly warms up the entire room. Choosing stainless steel construction for a heater offers several advantages over black steel, such as greater durability, resistance to corrosion and rust, and a modern and stylish appearance that can complement any design style.

What is the NordicStove Rustic Model?

The Rustic model combines both durability and style with its stainless steel construction and convection heating. Its convection system is designed with slots at the top and bottom of the cover for increased airflow and heating efficiency. This method of heating, called convection heating, circulates warm air using natural convection currents. In addition to its practical features, the Rustic model also has a viewing window that allows for an aesthetically pleasing element to your space. Watching the flames can also create a cozy and comforting atmosphere.
