The Englander Grizzly kit (ESW0031) is a rugged, wood-burning camp stove designed for serious outdoor use — whether you're sheltering in a canvas wall tent, warming an ice fishing house, or setting up a remote base camp. Built from welded 12-gauge steel and finished in satin black high-temperature paint, the Grizzly is engineered to handle the demands of real backcountry conditions. Its HexaTech™ hexagonal firebox design promotes even heat distribution and long burn times, while a circular door damper with an in-door air redirect gives you precise control over your fire from the first light to a steady, all-day burn. The stove top can reach temperatures up to 800°F, making it fully capable of boiling water, cooking meals, and keeping your shelter warm in cold weather. It is designed for use outdoors or in non-permanent structures like wall tents specifically made for stove usage — it is not rated for home installation.
The Grizzly kit ships ready to use and includes everything you need to get up and running: the stove itself, an attachable pipe collar, four 2-foot pipe sections, and an attachable side shelf. The legs are removable and store inside the stove body for transport, and the top edges of the stove are bent to serve as carrying handles — thoughtful details that make a genuine difference when you're packing in and out of camp. With a 2.7 cubic foot firebox and a maximum log length of 22 inches, the Grizzly can heat wall tents up to 16 feet by 24 feet, making it one of the more capable portable wood stoves in its class. A high-temperature fiberglass door gasket helps deliver efficient, longer-lasting burns, and the included spring handles keep the door latch and damper controls cool to the touch during operation.
