At the center of the system is a compact wood-burning firebox designed to accommodate commonly available firewood up to approximately 13.8 inches (35 cm) long. Its narrow profile maintains a relatively small footprint while producing an impressive fire—equally at home beside a well-appointed campsite, outside an overland rig or travel trailer, or at the center of an outdoor cooking setup.
Engineered for a Better Fire
A premium camping experience starts with equipment that performs as well as it looks. The BF-GM1 uses a double-wall structure and Toyotomi’s combustion expertise to create an efficient secondary burn.
Air entering from below is heated as it travels through the body of the unit before being reintroduced near the top of the combustion chamber. This heated secondary air helps ignite combustible gases remaining after the initial burn, making more complete use of the wood and gases produced during combustion.
The result is a strong, active flame with reduced smoke, odor, and remaining ash—creating a more enjoyable environment for cooking, relaxing, and gathering around the fire.
Designed to Belong at Camp
The BF-GM1 is designed for campers who care about the equipment they bring with them and the environment they create when they arrive. After use and once completely cooled, a removable side panel provides convenient access for ash removal without requiring the entire unit to be turned upside down.
