Description

The DuraVent Stove Pipe DVL Snap-Lock Adapter w/ Trim 5″, part number 5DBK-ADSL, is an adapter component used to transition between a 5″ double-wall DVL chimney pipe and 5″ single-wall stove pipe in solid fuel venting applications. It allows a secure snap-lock connection between the double-wall vent system and the stove pipe, providing proper mechanical engagement and support for a safe vent path. Manufactured to DuraVent specifications, this adapter includes a trim collar that provides a finished appearance where the vent transitions near a ceiling or clearance zone.

Snaps into the ceiling support box or finishing collar and extends down to fit into stovepipe for a drip-free connection to a DuraTech, DuraPlus, DuraPlus HTC, or DuraLiner Chimney system. Provides a strong mechanical connection. Adapter will work with all 6"-8" DuraPlus, 6"-8" DuraPlus HTC, and 7"-8" DuraTech Installations. Adapter will work with 5"-6" DuraTech Ceiling Support Box Installations only.  Comes complete with drill point TEK type fasteners. Offers improved esthetics with a clean modern appearance.

This adapter is intended for use in wood, pellet, or solid fuel stove vent systems where a change from double-wall DVL chimney pipe to single-wall stovepipe is required in compliance with installation instructions and clearance requirements. The snap-lock mechanism simplifies installation by eliminating the need for screws at the connection point while maintaining a secure joint. Installation should follow the vent manufacturer’s guidelines and local building codes to ensure appropriate clearances to combustibles, secure support, and overall system integrity.
