Broil King Cover, Baron 300's, Monarch

The Broil King 68470 cover is an exact-fit design for the Broil King Baron 300 series and Broil King Monarch series gas grills from 2014 and newer. The cover dimensions of 51 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 46 inches high are sized to provide complete enclosure of these grill models without excess material. It is not designed for larger Baron 400 or 500 series models, nor for Regal or Imperial series grills, which require their own corresponding cover part numbers.

The mesh venting panels allow air to circulate through the lower portion of the cover while the grill is stored, preventing the buildup of trapped moisture and humidity that would otherwise accumulate between the cover interior and the grill surface. Without ventilation, a sealed cover can trap condensation that accelerates surface corrosion on metal grill components. The PVC layer also offers enhanced resistance to UV radiation, temperature variation, fading, and cracking compared to standard polyester materials, supporting longer cover service life across multiple outdoor seasons without significant surface degradation. The inner 900D polyester backing adds structural integrity and provides a protective surface against the grill casing.

The blue accent stitching is applied at the seam locations across the cover to reinforce the seam construction with additional thread passes, creating extra-heavy seams that resist separation under stress from wind loading, repeated removal and placement cycles, and the weight of the cover material itself. In addition to its structural function, the blue stitching provides a distinctive visual detail that distinguishes the Broil King Premium Series cover from basic covers and contributes to the finished appearance of the product on the grill.

The hook-and-loop closure straps fasten around the lower hem of the cover at the base of the grill, drawing the cover snug against the unit and preventing wind from getting beneath the cover edge and lifting it. Without closures, a grill cover of this size can shift or blow off entirely in elevated wind, exposing the grill to weather and requiring repositioning after every wind event. Yes. The Broil King 68470 cover must only be placed on a grill that has been fully cooled after use. The PVC and polyester materials used in the cover's construction are not rated for contact with heated surfaces, and placing the cover on a grill that is still operating or retaining residual heat from a recent cooking session poses a fire and material damage hazard. The cover must also be kept away from open flames and sparks at all times, and should never be applied to the grill before it has returned fully to ambient temperature.
